Accuvon Multicrusher is an effective, universal chopping unit for use in liquids containing solids. It reliably chops coarse material such as fibers, wood, glass, plastics, membranes, textiles and many others.
The design is based on the proven Accuvon rotary lobe pump: carrier shafts, mounting, shaft seals and casing are identical.
Accuvon Multicrushers are used in numerous industrial applications. They are particularly preferred wherever solids are interfering with the continued operation and production, and thus need to be reduced to a harmless size. Processing the medium through the Multicrusher serves in protecting downstream machinery and pumps.

The robust construction of the Accuvon Multicrusher, which always
features a single-sided bearing, permits use of a quick-release cover, which in turn makes MIP possible.
The cover can be removed after releasing only four ring nuts. This makes maintenance quick and easy. When exchanging wear parts, the machine does not need to be disassembled from the system. Even the inlet and outlet lines remain connected.
For optimum adaptation to individual applications, various blades and blade combinations are available.
Blade G10Z, coarse with 10 teeth – preferable for the intake and chopping of especially large-sized solids.
Blade F16Z, medium profile with 16 teeth, for obtaining a good degree of fineness. Also suitable for fibrous materials.
Simple and ideal: The working space makes the proven mechanical seal possible without having to fully dismantle other components. No pipeline dismantling, no drive dismantling.
The Multicrusher casing is made of a single cast part and manufactured to narrow tolerances. It is available in high-quality gray cast iron, spheroidal cast iron or stainless steel. The casing is closed by a quick-release cover bolted on with four ring nuts.
This enables quick and easy accessing of the machine interior. Large inlet openings for uniform flow even with large-sized solids and high viscosity.
Quench and control chamber
The liquid-filled and separately sealed control chamber separates the carrier gear unit from the Multicrusher casing. It protects the gear unit from penetration by the medium while protecting the Multicrusher chamber from contact with gear oil. It also serves as the quench chamber for the mechanical seals.
Carrier gear unit and gear reducer
The carrier gear unit with gear reducer has a very solid
construction. Extra-large gears and bearings guarantee the onesided bearing system runs smoothly for a long time.
