Sewage Pumping station in combination Rotary Lobe Pumps / Pneumatic

A typical pneumatic pump station operates here with an interaction of pneumatic system and Rotary lobe pumps. The suction side of the Rotary lobe pumps is designed in that manner, that no solids (i.e. stones gravel) can flow into the pump. The pumps are handling the sewage only. Stones and other particles are lowing into the vessels of the pneumatic system. While the pumps are handling the main volume of the sewage, the pneumatic system is used twice a day to press the solids thought the system and also clean the pipe system form sediments. A combination of valves is isolating the both systems. Both systems are operated automatically via a PLC control pane!
