Oil spillage happens occasionally .To avoid incidence the emergency services and fire brigades have got decontamination units. Depending on the size they can decontaminate 40 000 to 160 000 litres of oil water - mixture within an hour. in each unit there are three Accuvon Rotary Lobe Pumps. One self - priming mobile feeding pump AP200 conveys the polluted fluid towards the unit, The pump is fitted in a frame with Euro-box dimensions and is selected to operate speed controlled via inverter, in the container there are two additional pumps. inverter controlled as well. After the mechanical separation of the oil from the water the separated high viscous oil is pumped by a further AP200 to a road tanker, The separated water is conveyed back to the river/drain, or back to the entrance of the separator if it still contains traces of oil, The customer decided for Accuvon Rotary Lobe Pumps as they require low space operate with low shear effect and are perfectly flow controllable
